Black History Month Celebration
Published: Wed 12 November 2025Despite the unpredictable weather changing our original plans, Galleywall’s Black History celebration was a huge success! The hall buzzed with excitement as families, staff, and pupils came together to celebrate the achievements, culture, and creativity of Black communities past and present. Across the school, children have been working hard to learn about key Black figures who have made an important contribution to society. Their displays were truly inspiring — full of colour, thought, and pride. From artwork to biographies and creative writing, every class showcased what they had learned in their own unique way. To all teachers and support staff – thank you for your support and the brilliant ideas you brought to celebrate Black History and showcase Black Excellence in our local area.
