Year 4 Explore Hinduism at the Sivan Kovil Temple
Published: Fri 10 October 2025Year 4 recently had the enriching experience of visiting the Sivan Kovil Hindu Temple in Lewisham as part of their Religious Education learning.
The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for children to deepen their understanding of Hindu beliefs, traditions, and worship practices in a real-life setting. Children were fascinated by the beautifully decorated statues of the deities and were eager to learn about the rituals and symbols that are central to Hindu worship.
