Year 6 Visit the CLPE Library
Published: Fri 10 October 2025Year 6 enjoyed an inspiring trip to the CLPE (Centre for Literacy in Primary Education) library in Waterloo.
During their visit, pupils were introduced to a wide range of fantastic children’s literature housed in this specialist reference library. While the books can’t be borrowed, everyone had the chance to explore and enjoy them in the beautifully illustrated and welcoming reading space.
The visit sparked plenty of enthusiasm for reading, and Year 6 even selected a few favourite titles to purchase for their classroom libraries.
